Materials Solutions provides consultancy to high value OEMs, principally in aerospace. Half our staff are PhD qualified materials scientists and metallurgists.

We specialise is developing complete methods of manufacturing customers designs in their choice of alloy. We either use this to deliver parts, or can deliver consulting and training packages to support customer’s manufacturing, tailored to your requirements.

Our customers include many major jet/gas turbine engine makers and their Tier 1 suppliers in Europe and North America.

MS offers ALM materials and manufacturing capability development, supply and support, commencing with and specialising in EOS powder-bed machines.

We can deliver whatever you require; including a complete turn-key systems integration solution (equipment + process+ training + support to achieve guaranteed materials and productivity), first article manufacture and pre-production trials.

We can support local manufacture in low-cost locations, acting as support between local design engineers and remote manufacturing locations.

As manufacturers ourselves we can provide peak demand and ‘machine-down’ capability to ensure on-time delivery to your end customers.

We can advise on design for the ALM process and cost.

We supply complete manufacturing strategies including everything necessary to take a CAD model to metal in a material (of guaranteed properties) of the customer’s choice to agreed tolerances on the drawing. This is a tailored product for each customer.
