Materials Solutions adds Mitutoyo SJ-400

Materials Solutions has added a Mitutoyo SJ-400 surface roughness measuring machine to its analytical lab. Apart from QA functions this instrument enables process development for complex shapes where surface roughness is critical such as on air washed surfaces.

We are able to quantitatively assess the effects of process parameter changes, finishing processes and materials used, enabling us to guarantee the required surface finishes are met in production.
