hollow titanium parts save weight

A hollow titanium 6/4 brake lever has been made in EOS M270 and is shown here alongside the original machined Hope brand aluminum brake lever- showing that a fuctional part can be made in titanium at almost half the weight of the aluminum original 12gm vs. 20gm.         

Functional testing is now taking place on the designer's mountain bike- front brake- shows confidence! [with much thanks to George Fey of EOS]
